Davide Gaido

Davide Gaido has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Davide currently serves as the Head of Technology at Good On You since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at 0plus1 since January 2012. From May 2019 to March 2021, they worked at Dry Cactus as a Lead Web Engineer.

Davide also held the position of Technical Lead at Cengage Australia from November 2016 to February 2020. In this role, they managed and mentored the digital team, oversaw technological choices and direction, and developed a teaching resource that received an award.

Before joining Cengage Australia, Davide worked as a Web Architect at Dry Cactus from April 2016 to November 2016. Davide also served as a Lead Developer at Profile Middle East LLC from June 2014 to September 2016, where they managed and mentored the IT team, oversaw technological choices and direction, and developed an internal recruitment platform.

Earlier in their career, Davide gained experience as a Senior Developer at Élan Media Partners, where they contributed to mission-critical development and collaborated with suppliers and management for development planning. Davide also worked as a Senior Developer at Cashtivity from June 2013 to April 2014.

Davide's work history includes positions as a Lead Developer at JMCC from January 2012 to June 2013 and as a Developer at Transpobank S.p.a. from January 2007 to January 2011. At Transpobank, they developed a custom CRM and worked on the innovation of transport logistics, integrating GPS tracking systems with Google Maps in real-time.

Davide Gaido attended Liceo Scientifico Statale E. Vittorini from 1998 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Scientific Secondary School with a focus on the Computer Science course of studies. From 2004 to 2007, they attended Politecnico di Milano and obtained a BCompSc degree in Advanced technician for the development of software for networks and mobile phones. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, they enrolled in the University of Tasmania and completed a Diploma of sustainable living, emphasizing on Environment, Ecology and Planet/Resource Use and Design for Living.
