Sean MacCarthy has extensive experience in the field of analytics and data strategy. Sean has held leadership positions at various companies, including Good Sam, Camping World, Claire's Inc., Walgreens, and Sears Holdings Corporation. Sean has also served as an advisory board member for the Northwestern University Retail Analytics Council and Corinium Global Intelligence. Additionally, they have worked as an advisor for The Platt Retail Institute. Prior to their industry experience, Sean worked as a full-time lecturer at Chicago State University and a teaching associate at Fordham University.
Sean MacCarthy earned their PhD in Philosophy from Fordham University from 2002 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their BA in History and Philosophy at Miami University from 2000 to 2002. Sean also briefly attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1999 to 2000, with a focus on Computer Engineering.
