Karel Novák

Karel Novák has had a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Karel started their career as an IT specialist at Emris s.r.o. in 2002 and then moved on to work as a junior programmer at NESS Czech s.r.o. from 2005 to 2007. Later, they joined Inter-Informatics s.r.o. as a consultant from 2008 to 2010. Karel then worked at GE Money Bank, Czech Republic as a BI Analyst/BI Project Leader from 2010 to 2012. Karel then joined GoodData in 2012 and held several positions including Solution Architect, Technical Program Manager, Director of Professional Services EMEA, Senior Director of Professional Services, and currently serves as the VP of Professional Services. Throughout their career, Karel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Karel Novák began their education at the American Academy of English in 2001, where they obtained the TOEFL Preparation certification. Karel then went on to attend Prague University of Economics and Business from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's degree in Informatics. From 2006 to 2009, Karel pursued further education at the same university, completing a Master's degree in Information Management. Additionally, in 2007, Karel participated in an exchange program at Tel Aviv University as part of their MBA program, focusing on Finance. Karel also holds several certifications, including ITIL® v3 Foundation, Oracle SQL Expert, and Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert.
