David Gutiérrez Palma has a diverse background in software development, with a focus on Unity game development. David has experience working with various companies and projects.
Starting in 2006, David worked as a Java Web Developer at Ingenia, where they developed a web application in the health-care sector using Java (J2EE) and Struts.
In 2011, David began their career as a Unity Developer. David worked at Visual Inspirations Inc, where they contributed to the development of FriendsHangout, a multiplayer 3D chat application. David created new mini-games and added customization tools for players.
During this time, David also worked independently, selling their product, Pro Racing AI, to other developers. Pro Racing AI was an AI for racing games developed in C# and compatible with popular vehicle physics on the Unity Asset Store.
In 2013, David joined Quizlyse Solutions, SL, where they worked on Marca Quiz, a mobile quiz game sponsored by Marca. David wrote the game client code in C# using Unity.
David then freelanced as a Unity Developer for Daniel Esteves, the creator of the Universal Fighting Engine. David implemented new features, including renovating the user interface.
In 2017, David joined Rarog Games SP ZOO, where they developed Studio Tattico, an interactive whiteboard for the Polish Football Federation. David used C# and Unity to create both web and mobile versions of the project.
In 2019, David worked at Mindiff technology as a C++ Game Developer. David implemented a system to export VFX generated with Unity and import them into a C++ in-house engine. David also implemented complex features and optimizations for a MOBA game.
Most recently, in 2022, David joined Goodgame Studios as a Unity Developer, working on the mobile game BitLife. The game features simple graphics but with a depth of gameplay thanks to advanced dynamic events and grammar tools.
David Gutiérrez Palma began their education in 2000 at the Universidad de Málaga, where they pursued a degree in IT Engineering. David completed this degree in 2010. Between 2005 and 2006, they attended the Municipal Institute of Training and Employment of Málaga (IMFE) to specialize as a Java2EE Developer. In 2009, they enrolled in the Evolis Training Center to undertake an online course in Videogame development and design, focusing on Videogame programming. Simultaneously, during the same year, they also attended the Radikal 3D Center to obtain a Master's degree in Modeling and Animation using Softimage XSI, concentrating on 3D Modeling and Animation.
