Duke Witchel

Duke Witchel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Duke started their career in 1995 at VSP as a Technical Integration Engineer, where they worked on integrating network, server, and client technologies. In 2000, they joined Aptify as an IT Manager, responsible for managing the support team and the company's internal infrastructure. Duke also designed and deployed Aptify's first Active Directory. After eight years, they left Aptify and joined Discovery Communications as a Telecom Architect, where they were responsible for supporting broadcast fiber circuits and deploying Avaya VOIP phone systems and Cisco Telepresence video conferencing systems. In 2009, they returned to Aptify as a Senior Manager, leading the efforts in establishing a new product called Aptify Cloud and maintaining a dedicated cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients. In 2016, they joined GoodLeap as a Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure and was later promoted to Director, where they effectively managed the Help Desk and Infrastructure Engineering teams and oversaw the migration from On-Prem Exchange to Exchange Online for a large number of users. In 2022, they assumed the role of Principal ETE Engineer at GoodLeap. Throughout their career, Duke has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in IT infrastructure management.
