Theresa Reno-Weber has a long and varied career in public service, business, and non-profit organizations. Theresa began their professional career in 2005 as the Coast Guard Congressional Affairs Liaison for the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2006, they completed their Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government. Theresa then went on to work for McKinsey & Company in 2007 as a Summer Associate and in 2008 as a Senior Consultant. In 2012, they became the Chief of Performance & Technology for Louisville Metro Government and the Chief of Performance Improvement in 2013. Theresa also served as Vice Field Chair for the Board of Directors of The Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. In 2014, they co-founded Human Momentum, LLC and in 2017, they became the President & CEO of Metro United Way. Currently, they are the COO & President for North America for GoodMaps, developing a new indoor digital mapping platform focused on enabling accessible navigation for all.
Theresa Reno-Weber completed a Bachelor of Science in Government - Public Policy and International Relations from the United States Coast Guard Academy between 1996 and 2000. Theresa then attended Harvard University and Harvard Kennedy School between 2006 and 2008, where they received a Master of Public Policy in International Security and Global Policy and a Master of Public Policy in International Security, respectively. Theresa also attended Leadership Louisville and the US Coast Guard Academy, though no degree or field of study was specified.
