Cherrylyn Cawit has a diverse work experience in user research and user experience roles. Cherrylyn is currently working as a Sr. User Research Manager at GoodRx since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Research Lead at Pilot.com from October 2022 to January 2023.

Cherrylyn has also worked at Pinterest, starting as a User Experience Researcher in October 2018 and progressing to roles such as Research Lead (Shopping) from September 2020 to February 2022, and later as Research Manager (Shopping) from January 2022 to September 2022.

Before joining Pinterest, Cherrylyn worked as a User Experience Researcher at Instagram from March 2018 to October 2018. Cherrylyn also gained experience working as a User Experience Researcher at Macy's from October 2016 to February 2018, and as an Associate Games User Researcher at Electronic Arts (EA) from July 2015 to October 2016 and at Zynga from August 2014 to July 2015.

Cherrylyn's earlier experiences include working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virtual Environments, Cognition, & Training Research (VECTR) Lab from September 2013 to August 2014, and as a Customer Insights Research Coordinator at Trend Micro from June 2012 to June 2014.

Their career in research began with roles as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Cruz. Cherrylyn worked under Professor Sri Kurniawan in an Assistive Technology Lab from June 2011 to February 2012, conducting interviews, analyzing data, and assisting with studies related to assistive technology for disabled/elderly persons, technology as a motive for teens to exercise, and technology as an informant for new or soon-to-be fathers. Prior to that, Cherrylyn worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Bruce Bridgeman, Ph.D., from August 2010 to June 2011, where they managed participants, input data, and contributed to enhancing the usability of the study.

Cherrylyn Cawit completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Cherrylyn pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from San Jose State University.
