Misty Davis

Misty Davis is the Finance Director for Goodwill Industries of East Texas and brings to the table over twenty-four years of experience in Accounting.

Misty started her career in 1996 with an Associate of Science Degree from Jacksonville College. Her first accounting job was at Southern Multifoods, a Taco Bell franchisee, in Jacksonville, Texas. She was quickly promoted from an Accounting Clerk to Staff Accountant.

In 2001, Misty married and moved to Tyler, Texas. Here, she found a rewarding job at Azleway Boys Ranch. Starting through a temporary agency, she worked her way up to the Director of Finance and Information Technology (IT) at Azleway Charter School. During her six-year tenure at Azleway, Misty was able to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, while also juggling life as a mom of a toddler and a newborn.
