Chris Engel

Chris serves as the Executive Vice President for Architecture, with broad responsibilities of managing the Architectural practice for the firm. As Chairman of the Board of Directors he brings a clear voice for strategic decisions that guide the long term vision and health of the firm, the clients and the employees. He is an Auburn University School of Architecture graduate, where he finished Magna Cum Laude with special studies in Interior Design and a minor in Business.

Chris has gained diverse experience and developed expertise in a number of practice areas including historic renovation, repositioning of historic structures, urban infill and planning, hospitality design, complex industrial facility design, integrated project teams, and sustainable building technologies. His professionalism and leadership of the Architecture practice includes guiding the team to deliver quality services, educating young professionals, project management, risk management and a consistent focus on client service.
