Aruna Banda

Aruna Banda is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Google since May 2022, Aruna is focused on preserving and enhancing user experiences through Google Photos. Prior to this role, Aruna held various positions at Amazon Music from March 2012 to June 2022, including Software Development Manager and Software Engineering Manager. Additionally, Aruna worked at Microsoft Corporation from March 2005 to March 2012 as Lead Software Development Engineer in Test. Aruna holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University, earned between 2001 and 2004.
