Cathie Toshach

Cathie Toshach is an accomplished UX Manager at Google since November 2019, with a robust background in user experience design and leadership. Previously, as Director of UX Design at HBO from May 2014 to April 2019, Cathie managed a diverse team of 40, enhancing video streaming products like HBO GO and HBO NOW. As Experience Design Lead at HBO, Cathie played a pivotal role in launching HBO NOW, entering the streaming market without traditional cable. Earlier experience includes roles at Microsoft as UX Designer II, where Cathie contributed to Bing's user engagement features, and as Sr. Interaction Designer at POP, developing solutions for major clients such as Disney and Toyota. Cathie's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Information with a focus on Human Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and a BA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago.
