Venkatadri Ganesan

Venkatadri Ganesan is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Google since January 2021, focusing on the development of the Control Plane stack for Cloud SQL, the relational database service for Google Cloud Platform. Prior to joining Google, Venkatadri served as a Senior Development Manager at Oracle, where responsibilities included work on the Control Plane Stack for Exadata Cloud Service. Venkatadri's career also includes roles at Cisco, following the acquisition of Cliqr Technologies, where the emphasis was on application-centric cloud services, as well as a tenure at Cliqr Technologies as a Principal Software Engineer. Earlier experience at Oracle spanned over a decade, with multiple positions including Software Development Manager and responsibilities related to automation and patching solutions. Venkatadri holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.
