Yufei Zhu

Yufei Zhu is a Principal Engineer at Google since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in performance and capacity engineering from previous roles at Meta and Facebook. At Meta, Yufei served as a Principal Engineer, focusing on scaling AI capacity and efficiency across various products, and led capacity planning for training clusters and model stores. Prior to that, Yufei held multiple positions at Facebook, including Director of Performance and Capacity Engineering, where responsibilities included AI infrastructure capacity planning and optimizations for large-scale training and inference. Yufei's career began at Oracle Corporation, managing teams focused on database performance. Yufei holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
