Akshay Talati is the Vice President of Research and Innovation for Skindie, a skincare company. Akshay has also worked for L'Oréal in the past, where they were responsible for developing skincare products for a variety of brands including Kiehl's, IT Cosmetics, Lancome, and Urban Decay. Akshay has also worked with Consumer / Mass brands such as LOreal, Garnier, Ombrelle, and NYX. In addition, they have experience with Active Dermatology Cosmetics such as Skinceuticals, Cerave, La Roche Posay, Vichy, and Acne Free.

Talati has a wealth of experience in developing brand and category specific global innovation strategy, creating technical messaging for consumer marketing, translating consumer insights and trends in the marketplace, and transforming novel technologies and innovations into products that are regionally relevant. Akshay has also been successful in driving exponential and double digit business growth in US and international markets in key partnerships with commercial organizations as well as upstream advanced research teams across multiple international locations.

In their current role at Skindie, Talati is responsible for leading the skincare development team and implementing a change management agenda to drive cultural and organizational transformation. Akshay is also responsible for creating brand strategy presentations, competitive intelligence, fast track innovations, and upstream / downstream transformation.

Akshay Talati has a M.S. In Industrial Pharmacy from Long Island University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy from KLE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, BELGAUM. Akshay also has certification from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist.
