Iara Comunello Martins

Iara Comunello Martins has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Iara began as a Gerente de Consultorias for Ação Júnior - Consultorias Sócio-Econômicas in 2014. In 2015 they worked as an Estagiário for Uatt?. From 2017 to 2019 they worked for Volkswagen Financial Services as an Asset and Liability Management Intern, where they were responsible for the preparation of data and documents for the department's committee meetings, as well as assisting in the remodeling of technological systems and supporting the communication and relations between the German main office and worldwide subsidiaries. In 2019 they worked as a Projects Assistant in Education for Development and Social Advocacy for FEC - Fundação Fé e Cooperação (NGO). Here they supported the social advocacy perspective in the critical analysis of political manifests within the scope of the European Parliament elections and contributed with an analysis of the tendencies regarding Human Rights, specially Children's Rights, in different world regions. Iara then worked as an Operations Summer Intern for Speak - Share your world! from 2019-2020. Currently, they are working as an Impact Assessment Intern and Impact and Operations Manager for GoParity - Impact Investing.

Iara Comunello Martins has a Master degree in Development and International Cooperation from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, which they obtained between 2018 and 2021. Iara also obtained a degree in Relações Internacionais from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina between 2013 and 2018. In addition, they studied Relações Internacionais at Technische Universität Dresden between 2016 and 2017.
