Damian Clark has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2015 with a role as Sales Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In this role, they were responsible for understanding cost control, communicating and interacting with customers, vendors and co-workers, executing proper sales techniques, and delivering weekly sales quotas. In 2017, they took on the role of Deputy Clerk at the New Orleans Civil District Court, where they were tasked with generating, filing and organizing legal documents for court proceedings and creating case dockets. From 2018 to 2022, they held two roles at the New Orleans City Council, first as a Legislative & Land Use Research Aide, then as a Legislative Research Aide. In this role, they were responsible for interpreting and assisting city staff in the enforcement of local ordinances and in interpreting city codes and master plans, promoting progressive legislative priorities, organizing the elected official's schedule and travel arrangements, and formulating talking points and memos for committee hearings. Finally, from 2022 to present, Damian has been a Strategic Project Manager at Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation.
Damian Clark graduated from Southern University at New Orleans in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Damian is currently enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans - MBA, College of Business and is expected to complete their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance and Operations by 2023.
