Scott Sprague has a strong background in IT, starting with their role as an IT-Student Help at Madison Area Technical College in 2007. Scott then worked as an IS Technical Services Professional at the State of Wisconsin in 2008. In the same year, they joined TEKsystems as a Customer Repair Advisor I before moving to TDS Telecommunications Corp. as a Customer Repair Advisor II. At TDS, they were eventually promoted to Customer Repair Advisor III - Remote PC in 2012, where they stayed until 2016. Scott obtained their first degree, an IT-Help Desk Support Specialist, from Madison Area Technical College, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Scott furthered their education at the same institution and graduated in 2013 with a degree in IT-Computer Systems Support Specialist, specializing in information technology.
In addition to their formal education, Scott also holds several certifications from Microsoft. In 2011, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows Server 2008 Networking Infrastructure Configuration certification. A year later, in 2012, they achieved the prestigious title of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Scott continued to enhance their skills and knowledge by obtaining the Identity with Windows Server 2016 certification from Microsoft in 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they received the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification.
