Sumedh Khair

Sumedh Khair is a Project Transportation Engineer at Gorove Slade since July 2021, specializing in assessing transportation impacts of land development projects and providing tailored solutions for a variety of clients in the Washington DC metro area. Previously, Sumedh served as a Graduate Assistant at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, focusing on roadside safety and guardrail design. Earlier experience includes a Transportation Engineering Internship with Engineering Consultant, where project work involved designing a highway segment for a project in Zambia, and research at Purdue University analyzing the economic impacts of urban street improvements. Sumedh holds a Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering as well as a Certificate in Engineering Project Management from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
