Orkuma Ivo

Orkuma Ivo is a Senior Software Engineer at Goss, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vonage as a Software Engineer from October 2018 to May 2022. At Vonage, they were responsible for migrating JSP front-end to VueJS, creating REST APIs with Java (Spring), and maintaining and updating a legacy React App for video calling. They also practiced agile development using JIRA and conducted stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Before Vonage, Orkuma worked at SIS Betting as a Software Developer from July 2015 to October 2018, where they developed and maintained a ReactJS app for live betting data and practiced agile development using JIRA. They also had a previous role as an Intern Software Developer at Millenium Integrated Limited from February 2011 to August 2011.

Orkuma Ivo pursued their education in computer science, beginning with a Bachelor's Degree at Salem University, Nigeria from 2009 to 2012. Orkuma then furthered their studies by enrolling in The University of Salford from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering.
