Brian Smith

Brian Smith has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Brian is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Gotham Green Partners, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Controller at the same company starting from January 2021.

Before joining Gotham Green Partners, Brian worked at Strategic Value Partners as a Controller from September 2015 to December 2020. Brian also gained experience as a Fund Accountant at Fortress Investment Group from July 2012 to September 2015.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked at Rothstein Kass as an Audit Manager from August 2007 to July 2012, and at Rector, Moffitt and Lindsay as an Auditor from January 2004 to August 2006.

Brian Smith graduated from Dacula High School in 2000. Brian then attended The University of Georgia from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Accounting from the Terry College of Business. In 2006, Brian went on to attend Kennesaw State University, where they obtained a Master of Accountancy (MACC) degree in 2007.
