Maarten Metz

Maarten Metz has over 28 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Release Management. Maarten began their career in 1992 as a Software Configuration Manager at Sabre Corporation, where they were responsible for the software configuration management activities for the American Airlines Airport Check-in System and the American Airlines Resarail projects. In 2000, they joined Lombardi Software as a Product Manager and Manager of QA, where they managed the TeamWorks product and released several major service packs. In 2007, they moved to Affiniscape as the Director of QA, then to Moxie Software as the Director of Quality Engineering in 2008. In 2010, they joined SolarWinds as the Director of Global QA, then Appconomy in 2011 as the Director of Quality Engineering and Customer Service. Maarten then moved to goTransverse in 2015 as the Director of Quality Engineering and Program Management, and finally to Arrive Logistics in 2019 as the Director of Quality. In 2020, they rejoined goTransverse as the Director of Quality Engineering and Release Management.

Maarten Metz received their Masters in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster Vienna Private University between 1990 and 1991. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelors in Marketing from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences between 1984 and 1988.
