Yi Yin

Yi Yin has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. Starting at Sabre Holdings as a Senior Software Engineer, Yi Yin worked on developing and maintaining both client-side UI and server-side applications for the Fare Management System. In 2005, Yi Yin moved to Solomio as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2006, Yi Yin joined Openwave via Solomio and developed web applications with Java, JSP, Spring and Spring mvc, Ajax, and Oracle. In 2007, Yi Yin moved to Motive as a Senior Software Engineer where they designed, coded, tested, and implemented new functions and enhancements to existing software for the High Speed Data product. In 2008, Yi Yin moved to Open Sky Software as a Senior Software Engineer and built, deployed, and maintained a variety of web applications exclusively using open source. Finally, in 2009, Yi Yin joined goTransverse as Director of Product Operations and was responsible for overseeing, planning, and maintaining release deployment, service availability and scalability, and health of the production environment. Additionally, Yi Yin managed the production operations team and was in charge of second level application support for the billing solution.

Yi Yin completed a Bachelor of Science in Botany from Xiamen University from 1981 to 1985. Yi then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Science from Oklahoma State University from 1993 to 1997. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University from 1997 to 1999.
