Trevor Skelly previously served in the Office of General Counsel for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, where he advised on a variety of matters including appropriations, ethics, procurement, and personnel. During his time at PBGC, Trevor served as counsel for numerous high priority services and information technology procurements for the Corporation, benefiting from his fifteen years as a warranted contracting officer for the Navy.
Before returning to federal service, Trevor was a tax associate with Goodwin in Boston, Massachusetts where he advised private and public clients on real estate and venture capital transactions including mergers and acquisitions, asset acquisition and sales, stock acquisition and sales, initial public offerings, real estate investment trusts, and tax controversy. During law school, Trevor interned with Goodwin in Boston and with the Raytheon Company’s tax department in Waltham, Massachusetts as well as serving as a law clerk for the Hon. Mary T. Sullivan on the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
