Alison Ortowski

Alison Ortowski has extensive experience in municipal management, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Southlake, Texas since October 2007. Previously held positions at the City of Southlake include Assistant City Manager, Assistant City Manager/Director of Economic Development and Tourism, and Assistant to the City Manager. Alison's earlier career includes serving as Downtown Development Specialist for the City of Denton and Main Street Director for the City of Gatesville. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin, and ongoing studies at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, along with professional development through the International City/County Management Association and the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia.
