Soraya Martinez Ferrada has extensive experience in Canadian politics and public service, currently serving as a Minister at the Gouvernement du Canada and as a parliamentary secretary for various portfolios including housing and transportation. Elected as the federal deputy for Hochelaga, Soraya has held multiple roles since October 2019, including parliamentary secretary for immigration and refugee issues. Prior experience includes being a candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada in the 2019 federal election and holding senior advisory and leadership positions, such as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy at TOHU. Soraya has a strong background in strategic planning, crisis management, and public relations, complemented by a Master's degree in Management from HEC Montréal.
