Josh Hector Msc.

Josh Hector MSc. is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology and mental health, currently serving as the Director of Mental Health & Substance Use for the Government of Grenada since August 2023. As the Founder and Senior Psychologist at Optimal Solutions Gd. since June 2018, Josh has combined clinical expertise with entrepreneurial leadership. Previous roles include Lecturer at St. George's University from January 2017 to May 2021 and Counselling Psychologist at Lighthouse Development Center Gd. from March 2016 to May 2018. Additional experience encompasses managerial and psychological positions in various organizations, including Soul Deep and Paredos. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University and a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from The University of the West Indies.
