Omar Elsherif is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and building infrastructure, currently serving as the Manager of Building Infrastructure for the Government of Nova Scotia since April 2022, after holding the position of Senior Architect in Public Works. Prior to this, Omar worked as a VDC Specialist at Bird Construction from January 2021 to March 2022 and as an Associate Project Manager and Intern Architect at DSRA Architecture Inc. between August 2018 and January 2021. Omar's career also includes significant roles at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) as a Senior Architect and Architect from October 2007 to May 2018, as well as working as an Architect at Moez, Hegazy Architecture Engineering Consultants from October 2004 to September 2007. Academically, Omar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University, obtained from 2000 to 2004, a Master's Preliminary Studies in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from Cairo University, completed in 2004-2005, and additional studies at The American University in Cairo from 2006 to 2008.
