Dr. David Sabapathy

Dr. David Sabapathy is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Deputy Chief Public Health Officer for the Government of Prince Edward Island since 2014. Prior to this position, Dr. Sabapathy practiced as a Public Health and Preventive Medicine Physician at Alberta Health Services from 2008 to 2013 and held a clinical role at the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2008. Additional experience includes a stint as a Management Consultant for Calgary Health Region and a decade as a Professional Engineer at Imperial Oil. Dr. Sabapathy's educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Health Services Research and Clinical Fellowship in Applied Public Health Research, both obtained from the University of Calgary, along with a Doctor of Medicine degree, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from respected institutions, highlighting a diverse and comprehensive academic background.
