Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan currently serves as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry since February 2021, while also holding the position of Governor of Telangana since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Dr. Soundararajan was the Director (Independent Charge) at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited from September 2017 to September 2019. An academic background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research from 1996 to 2003. Dr. Soundararajan obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Madras Medical College in Chennai and a Doctor of Optometry (D.O.) from Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute.
