Onur Devrim is a seasoned professional in economic affairs with extensive experience in promoting trade and export growth. Currently serving as a Senior Economic Affairs Attaché at the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec since September 2016, Onur develops strategic plans to enhance Quebec's trade relations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordic countries. Previous roles include Economic Affairs Attaché, where Onur led initiatives that significantly increased exports in key sectors such as IT, AI, mining, forestry, and video games, and an interim position as Director of Economic Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Business Development for Eastern Canada at the Department for International Trade and as a Trade Commissioner Assistant with Global Affairs Canada. Onur holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the University of Calgary and has furthered education at ESSEC Business School.
