Kara Deiana

Kara Deiana is an experienced project manager currently serving at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) since July 2022, previously holding the position of assistant project manager. Prior to this role, Kara worked at the Office of the NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli from September 2012 to July 2022, where different titles included administrative services manager, supervising senior accountant, associate examiner of municipal affairs, and senior examiner of municipal affairs. Kara Deiana obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, completing studies from 2004 to 2009.
