Ignacio Álvarez

Ignacio Álvarez's work experience includes roles in various companies.

Starting in 2011, they worked as an Assistant on the Department of Surveillance and Safety at the Local Police of Salamanca, where they managed protocols and participated in workshops on gender-based violence.

In 2012, they worked as a Private Investigator at Grupo Savia CB, collecting data, managing administrative tasks, and preparing reports.

From 2016 to 2018, Ignacio worked as an Analyst and Researcher at the Secretary of State Security - Nacional Femicide Review Team. During this time, they conducted detailed reviews of feminicides, built relationships and trust, and analyzed information for report preparation.

From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Grupo SIA, first as a Security Consultant, supervising incidents and consulting in GRC, and then as a part of the cybersecurity awareness team, designing and implementing awareness plans and developing gamified actions.

Currently, Ignacio Álvarez holds the position of Head of Cybersecurity Awareness at GOVERTIS, where they are responsible for designing and coordinating cybersecurity awareness plans and managing training activities.

Ignacio Álvarez has a diverse education history. Ignacio obtained a Psychology Degree with a specialization in Forensic Psychology from Udima Universidad a Distancia de Madrid in 2021. In 2020, they pursued studies in International Relations and National Security at Fundación de Estudios Estratégicos e Internacionales (FESEI). In 2018, they received training as a Private Security Trainer from the Ministry of Interior. Álvarez also holds a degree in Criminology from the Universidad de Salamanca, which they completed in 2015. Additionally, they completed a Private Investigator program and a University Specialist in Safety program at the same university in 2012. Apart from their formal education, Álvarez has obtained certifications in various areas such as SMARTFENSE administration and implementation, Business Continuity (ISO 22301:2019) auditing, and Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001) auditing.
