Matthew Nelson

Matthew Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several years.

Matthew began their career at Illinois College as a Spanish Tutor and Student Researcher in 2013.

During this time, they also worked as an Auditing Intern at Sikich.

In 2015, they joined National Securities Corporation as an Operations Associate and remained there until 2018.

Matthew then moved on to Crux, where they held multiple roles including DataOps Engineer, Data Integration Engineer, and Data Integration Manager.

Matthew'stenure at Crux lasted from 2018 to 2023.

Currently, they are working at Volition as a Data Operations Manager, a position they started in April 2023.

Matthew Nelson completed a Full Stack Web Development Program at Flatiron School from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Illinois College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including "Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform" and "Python Data Structures" from Coursera in 2019, and "Series 63" and "Series 7" from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2016.
