Joseph Garone

Joseph Garone has had a varied work experience. In 2009, they began working for FAMILY PAINTBALL CENTER LLC. as Manager, where they managed multiple employees and maintained the store, paintball fields, paintball markers, gear, and general grounds keeping. In 2012, they completed a Summer Internship at Data Access Worldwide, where they shadowed the I.T. manager during a migration of server and included hardware, setup and tear down. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Representative at Nike, where they worked with customers on the sales floor to find the correct product to help their needs, manned the Point of Sales, and helped keep the stock room organized. In 2015, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Southwest Auto Service, where they greeted customers, generated invoices, and processed financial transactions. In 2016, they worked as a Junior Systems Administrator at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, where they maintained computers, printers, routers/modems, POS's & database servers, and oversaw network/DSL/Phone infrastructure and integrity. In 2017, they worked as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer / Jr SDET at Paradigm. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a QA Automation Engineer at GovX, where they participated in the agile development process and owned end to end sprint testing, refined user stories, enhanced acceptance criteria, and represented testing effort during grooming. Joseph also executed test plans during all stages of development, from initial development to regression testing and hotfix deployment validation.

Joseph Garone attended Coral Reef Senior High from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a High School degree in Musical Performance. Joseph then went on to attend Florida International University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology for Software Development. Joseph has also obtained additional certifications, such as the ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America in September 2022, as well as Information Security Basics, Network Assurance, and Secure Software from Texas A&M University.
