Satheesh Kumar has over 8 years of experience in the coal trading industry. Satheesh most recently worked as the Head- Coal, South & East India at GP Global Group, where they were responsible for developing the coal trade in the South and East coast of India. Satheesh successfully developed the business by coordinating with customers, suppliers, operations team, ports, and inspection agencies. Prior to that, Satheesh worked as a Senior Manager-Coal Trading at Tata International, where they developed a strong customer base in South India and negotiated and finalized commercial terms with customers. Satheesh also worked at Adani Enterprises Ltd., where they focused on customer follow-up, planning shipments, and coordination with customers and inspection agencies. Earlier in their career, Satheesh worked at Rudhra Energy, where they handled contract finalization, coordination with international offices, and liaison with stevedoring agents.

Satheesh Kumar pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agriculture from Tamilnadu Agriculture University, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. Afterward, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business.
