Ps Travis McCarty

Travis McCarty has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying and project management. Travis began their career at Diversified Engineering Inc. in 2000 as a Survey Tech/Draftsman, gaining valuable experience in surveying and drafting. In 2005, they joined GPD Group, where they have held multiple roles over the years. Travis started as a Project Surveyor, managing survey projects for public works, transportation, and water projects. Travis specialized in tasks such as basemapping, boundary/centerline resolution, and laser scan registration/extraction. In 2014, McCarty was promoted to Project Manager, expanding their responsibilities and overseeing various projects. Their expertise and dedication eventually led to their current role as Senior Project Manager, starting in June 2022. Throughout their career, McCarty has showcased their skills in surveying, project management, and technical abilities, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Travis McCarty, PS has a diverse educational background in the field of surveying and mapping, technology, and computer design and animation. Travis attended The University of Akron from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Surveying and Mapping. Prior to that, Travis studied at Kent State University from 2001 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technology. Travis also completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Design and Animation from Kent State University between 1997 and 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Travis has acquired several certifications to further their professional expertise. Travis obtained the Professional Surveyor certification from the State of New York in December 2021, followed by certifications from the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Professional Surveyor in October 2016 and January 2016, respectively. Travis also earned a certification in Right of Way Plan Development from the Ohio Department of Transportation in November 2006 and became a Professional Surveyor in the State of Ohio in July 2006.
