Erin Brazel is currently a Passe & Williams Research Fellow and has held various roles at the University of Adelaide since January 2016, including Postdoctoral Researcher, Research Assistant, PhD Researcher, and Practical Demonstrator for Infection and Immunity IIIA. As of July 2024, Erin serves as the Chair of the SA/NT Branch of the Australian Society for Microbiology. Erin is also the Director of Microbiology and an Adjunct Research Scientist at GPN Vaccines since January 2020, involved in business and scientific strategy and IP development through the MTPConnect REDI Bridge Industry Fellowship. Erin participated in The Bridge Program from April 2022 to January 2023, securing a win in the Pitch Competition and being awarded the Bridge Industry Fellowship. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and an Honours degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Adelaide.
