Sally Detter

Sally Detter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sally began their career in 1988 as an Accounting Coordinator at Amoco. From there, they moved on to Oxford Industries, Inc. where they held various positions including Director of Risk Management, Assistant Treasurer, and Payroll and Cash Manager. In 2008, they started their own consulting company called SD Risk Consulting, where they provided consulting services for risk management projects. Sally also worked at the City of Atlanta as the Manager of Contract Compliance & Insurance, and at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport as the Risk Management Director. Sally later joined Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen as the Director of Risk Management, and then held the position of VP of Risk Management and Compliance at Hooters of America. Sally then worked as the Director of Risk Management at GPS Hospitality before becoming a Member of the Board of Directors at Elevanta in 2018. Additionally, Sally served as the Educational Conference Treasurer for Atlanta RIMS.

Sally Detter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1981. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Spring Hill College from 1975 to 1979. Sally began their college preparation at Tattnall Square Academy from 1971 to 1975.
