Mary L. Hixon

Mary Hixon is an experienced Senior Toxicologist at Gradient, with a background in Toxicology, Product Safety, Global Hazard Assessments, Human Health Risk assessment, and Product Stewardship. Prior to their current role, Mary served as an Assistant Professor at Brown University, specializing in Mouse Models of Disease, Transgenic Mouse Models, Toxicology, Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching, Course Development, Grant Writing, and Scientific Writing. Mary holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Toxicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Health from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Hiram College.
