Ryan Geyer

Ryan Geyer is currently a Senior Cloud Integrations Engineer at Grafana Labs. Prior to this, they were with Turbonomic from May 2018 to March 2021, where they served as an Enterprise Integration Engineer. There, they were responsible for designing and delivering customer integrations to fill gaps or enhance the core Turbonomic Operations Manager functionality. Ryan's primary contributions include automated build of base Docker images for integrations delivered in Kubernetes/Openshift, standardized Kubernetes deployment for marshalling/executing Turbonomic custom action scripts, and more.

Before their time at Turbonomic, Ryan served as a Cloud Solutions Architect at RightScale from July 2011 to May 2018. There, they were responsible for providing technical expertise around public/private/hybrid cloud solutions and architectures, supporting the sales team in pre-sales and post-sales engagements, and more.

Ryan's career began as a Software Developer/Analyst at Mentor Worldwide LLC from June 2008 to July 2011. In this role, they were responsible for software development, analysis, and support for multiple business-critical applications. Ryan then transitioned into the role of Cloud Architect & SRE at Mentor Worldwide, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson Company, where they served from April 2010 to July 2011. There, they were responsible for designing and implementing Mentor's global cloud strategy, managing and scaling Mentor's production SaaS environment, and more.

From March 2002 to June 2008, Ryan served as an Integration Services Engineer at Citrix Online. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions using various middleware technologies, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration projects, and more.

Ryan Geyer has a certification from Turbonomic in Turbonomic-ACE Master: Cloud, a certification from Turbonomic in Turbonomic-ACE Professional, a certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, and a certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
