Allyson Davis

Allyson Davis, ED.S., BCSE, is the Executive Director of Grafton’s Winchester program. Having started as a teacher, Ms. Davis has 25 years in the field of special education and developmental disabilities.

Ms. Davis was the Early Childhood Division Administrator of STARC of Louisiana for seven years. She served, via appointment, on the Louisiana State Interagency Coordinating Council Transition Taskforce Finance Committee to facilitate the transition of the Part C early intervention program from the Louisiana Department of Education to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. She also led the construction and operation of an all-inclusive child development center to ensure access to developmentally-driven care.

Ms. Davis joined Grafton in 2006 as Principal of the day school in Winchester. During her time in that role, she developed the organization’s Early Intervention program to teach, coach, and mentor families of children up to age three who have a developmental delay, diagnosed disabling condition, or development that is not typical of most children.

Ms. Davis earned her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia University.
