Caroline Chambers

Senior Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Graham Media Group

Caroline Chambers was named Senior Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in November 2020. She will be responsible for helping develop and lead GMG’s DEI strategy.

Chambers comes to GMG from Comerica Bank where she served as Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion, and President of the Charitable Foundation at Comerica Bank where she led strategies supporting the company’s business development and corporate citizenship goals. In her DE&I role, Chambers directed corporate-wide diversity and inclusion strategy and scorecard tracking focused on talent acquisition and development, employee learning programs, and business and community outreach. Additionally, she led, coached, and mentored fifty different employee resource groups that helped increase employee engagement.

Chambers is a trustee for the Center for the Study of Citizenship at Wayne State University and a Menttium Mentor, working to support the advancement of diverse talent in different industries across the country. She is the recipient of various community awards and recognition such as Corp! Magazine Diversity Champion, Birmingham/Bloomfield Race Relations and Diversity Champion, Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence, and American Arab Chamber of Commerce Partner Award.

Chambers received her BA in Journalism and Communications from the University of Georgia and her Masters’ of Public Administration from the University of Michigan.
