Kristan Steffen

Kristan Steffen is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and research. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Scientist at GRAIL, Inc. since July 2016, Kristan has advanced through multiple roles within the company, including Staff Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II. Prior to this, Kristan was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2016 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 2010 to 2012. Earlier in the career, Kristan gained experience as a Process Engineer at Protein Design Labs and as a Research Intern at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Kristan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota.
