Robert McCord

Robert McCord has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at GRAIL, Inc. since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Guardant Health from 2018 to 2021, where they held positions as the Director of Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and Director of IVD Product Development. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Personalis, Inc. as the Director of Product Management in Oncology and as a Senior Product Manager in Immuno-Oncology. Before that, they were a Senior Product Manager in Oncology at Natera from 2015 to 2016. McCord also has extensive experience at BD, where they held various roles such as Core Team Leader, Systems Verification Manager, Systems Data Management Supervisor, and Sr. Systems Verification Specialist from 2004 to 2015. Robert started their career as a Flow Cytometry Specialist at Maxygen from 2000 to 2004 and as a Flow Cytometry Operator at Guy's, King's, and St. Thomas's Medical School from 1998 to 2000.

Robert McCord completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Yale University from 1994 to 1998. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business at Santa Clara University from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, Robert obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
