Luis Parent Bonilla

Luis Parent Bonilla has a strong background in software development and data management. Luis worked as a Mobile Developer at Grain Discovery starting in 2021. At Couree Inc, they served as a Software Engineer from February 2021 to August 2021, where they developed a grocery shopping and delivery application for Massachusetts residents. Luis also collaborated in application planning and UI/UX design.

Before that, Luis worked at Algo Depth from December 2017 to October 2020 as a Data Manager. Luis conducted research on alternative datasets, collaborated with data vendors, and co-directed a project on news sentiment analysis using Python and Natural Language Processing models.

Prior to their data management role, Luis worked as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director at Paul Winston Group, LLC from August 2016 to December 2017. During this time, they assisted the managing director in the production line for a brand and successfully managed deadlines and solved issues in the production pipeline.

Luis Parent Bonilla completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Universidad del Caribe in the Dominican Republic. Luis attended the university from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their degree, Luis also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2018, they became certified in Growth-Driven Design from HubSpot Academy. In 2019, they completed the course "Using Python to Access Web Data" offered by the University of Michigan through Coursera, and also completed the course "What is Data Science?" offered by IBM. Their most recent certification, obtained in 2020, is in Python for Data Science and AI, also from Coursera.
