Matthieu Boujonnier has a wealth of experience in the technology and engineering fields. In 1998, they began their career as an intern in the IT division at BASF, where they worked on website development and local network management. Matthieu then joined Wintimes in 1999 as an intern, gaining valuable experience in software engineering. In 2000, they worked as an intern for the Architecture Center at Hewlett-Packard.
Continuing their career, Matthieu joined Sema Group in 2000 as a software engineer, focusing on telecom projects and supporting 3G services. In 2001, they moved to Schlumberger, working as a technical architect in the oil and gas industry, specifically on remote monitoring systems for oil pumps. Matthieu then worked at Atos Origin from 2003 to 2007 as a technical and functional architect in the Oil & Gas Upstream Department, designing real-time oilfield job remote monitoring systems.
From 2007 to 2010, Matthieu worked as an architect at Orange Business Services, contributing to multiple M2M projects in various industries. Matthieu joined Schneider Electric in 2010 and had various roles, including lead architect and remote services platform lead architect. Matthieu focused on digital services transformation and IoT business design.
In 2015, Matthieu took on the role of technical evangelist and BU adoption architect at Schneider Electric, followed by a position as an analytics application architect and data scientist in 2016. Matthieu merged their architecture and scientific skills to work on data-driven innovation.
Most recently, Matthieu became the CTO and Co-Founder of GRAIN Ecosystem in 2022, where they play a pivotal role in leading and founding the company.
Matthieu Boujonnier completed their Master's degree in Computer Science and Management (IG) from Polytech Montpellier from 1997 to 2000. In 1999 to 2000, they also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Additionally, they obtained various certifications. In 2018, they received a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera. In 2016, they completed the Epidemics - the Dynamics of Infectious Diseases courses from both The Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh. In 2014, they obtained a certification in How Viruses Cause Disease from Columbia University. Furthermore, in 2013, they completed the Digital Signal Processing course from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Finally, in 2017, they received two certifications related to hockey: the 10 & Under Online Age-Specific Module and the USA Hockey SafeSport Training, both from USA Hockey.
