Paige Whitney is currently a SPED teacher at Grand Canyon Unified School District. Paige previously worked as a Park Ranger at Westcott Beach State Park from May 2020 to October 2020, providing late hour security and assistance for campers within the park. Prior to that, they were a Head Swim Coach at Tempe Rio Salado Swim Club from October 2018 to December 2019, coaching swimmers ages 5-18 from learning to swim to preparing for their high school/college swimming career. Paige has also taught 7th and 8th grade general science at IMAGINE PREP SUPERSTITION INC from July 2017 to May 2019, in addition to high school Physics. From July 2016 to July 2017, they were a Science Teacher at Wayne Central Schools, teaching NYS Regents Earth Science while using their certification in Special Education grades 7-12 to help their students with IEPs and 504s succeed in Earth Science. Paige has also served as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Byron Bergen Schools on two occasions, first from May 2016 to June 2016, and then again from February 2015 to June 2015.
Paige Whitney holds a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from the University of Rochester. Paige also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Earth Science Teacher Education from SUNY Brockport. In addition, they have a Regents Diploma with Honors from New Hartford High School. Paige is certified by the New York State Education Department in both New York State Initial Adolescence Earth Science Generalist Teacher Certification and Initial Teaching Certification: Students with Disabilities grades 7-12.
