Rjay Brunkow is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the tourism, hospitality, and finance sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for Grand Canyon Resort Corporation since January 2024, Rjay previously led Indian Land Capital Company as CEO from August 2015 to January 2024, where Rjay focused on financing for Indian tribes across the United States. Rjay's legal expertise is highlighted by a tenure as Chief Legal Counsel for the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, overseeing significant projects such as a $30 million hotel and casino development, and as Solicitor General for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. Additionally, Rjay worked as an investment banker at Wells Fargo Specialized Finance, specializing in financing for infrastructure projects. Rjay holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, along with advanced training in leadership and community investment from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor's Degree from South Dakota State University.
