Dr. Paul Kemmeter

Dr. Paul Kemmeter is a bariatric surgeon and medical professional with extensive experience in the field. Dr. Paul co-founded Grand Health Partners in 2008, where they currently serve as the Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Director. Dr. Paul specializes in metabolic surgery, gastrointestinal disease treatment, and hiatal hernia repair. Dr. Kemmeter also co-founded BFKW LLC in 2005. In addition, they have held positions at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital and ASMBS Foundation. Dr. Paul has made significant contributions to the bariatric surgery field, particularly in the treatment of obesity.

Dr. Paul Kemmeter, MD FACS attended the University of Michigan from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Dr. Paul then attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Their educational background is focused on medicine and biology.
