Katherine Dunnigan is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in teaching across various grade levels. Currently serving as a 5th Grade General Education Teacher in a Co-Teaching Classroom at Grand Island Central School District since August 2012, Katherine also holds the position of Summer School Lead Teacher at Erie 1 BOCES, where instruction focuses on students with disabilities ages 5-8. Prior to these roles, Katherine taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, and served as a long-term substitute for 5th grade at Kenmore Tonawanda UFSD from September 2006 to September 2012. Katherine holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, English, and Psychology from the same institution.
